IVFD The impact of the localisation of endometriosis lesions on ovarian reserve and assisted reproduction techniques outcomes
The multivariable logistic regression analysis adjusted for confounding factors indicated that the OSI (ovarian sensitivity index) and the existence of DIE (deep infiltrating endometriosis) with and without OMA (endometrioma ) were a significant predictive variable for clinical pregnancy and for live birth. On the basis of our results, the severity of endometriosis and the location of its lesions could affect an ovarian reserve and stimulation.

IVFD The impact of a thin endometrial lining on fresh and frozen–thaw IVF outcomes: an analysis of over 40 000 embryo transfers
Although pregnancy and live birth rates decrease with endometrial thickness, reasonable outcomes were obtained even with lower endometrial thickness measurements. These data provide valuable guidance for both physicians and patients when confronted with decisions related to a persistently thin endometrium.

IVFD National Mosaic Embryo Transfer Practices: A Survey
Conclusion(s) There is uncertainty and variability in the transfer practices of mosaic embryos and classification of mosaicism among U.S. ART clinics. These findings provide an opportunity to establish mosaicism thresholds and create standardized guidelines for transferring mosaic embryos.

IVFD The legal and ethical issues around fathering a child with a dead man's sperm
In the age of artificial reproductive technology, extracting sperm from dead men is possible — and it happens more often than you might think. In Australia there have been a series of court cases centred on whether sperm can be removed from a corpse and given to a grieving partner, so they can one day use it to fall pregnant

IVFD More than 1200 embryo transfers with an endometrial thickness below 7mm [HR editors choice]
The impact of a thin endometrium has been a longstanding topic of lively debate among IVF clinicians. Kimberly Liu et al., from Toronto, Canada, now have reviewed over 40,000 fresh and frozen IVF cycles. They show that live birth rates decreased and pregnancy loss rates increased with each millimeter decline of endometrial thickness below 8 mm in fresh transfer cycles. In frozen transfer cycles, live birth rates decreased below 7mm, but no signif

Title
Does endometriosis lesions effect ovarian response to stimulation and pregnancy?
Summary
Yes, the presence of endometrioma(s) results in lower AMH concentrations, poorer response to stimulation and pregnancy.
Comment
This study from an Iranian clinic has shown that the presence of one or more endometrioma will impact of ovarian reserve, lower AMH and poorer pregnancy rate. Other studies have reported similar observations. Clearly, when an endometrioma has been identified, the clients need to be informed of the impact on outcome.// One issue that may arise from this report is that in countries where nursing staff do many of the follicle scanning, each clinic would need to ensure sufficient training has been provided such that the scanning nursing staff could recognise an endometrioma and report to the treating clinician.//
