IVFD Generation of Bimaternal and Bipaternal Mice from Hypomethylated Haploid ESCs with Imprinting Region Deletions
Highlights -Haploid ESCs display PGC-like methylation profiles following in vitro cultivation- Parthenogenetic and androgenetic haploid ESCs show different demethylation dynamics-phESCs carrying 3 deleted imprinted regions support normal growth of bimaternal mice -ahESCs carrying 7 deleted imprinted regions produce live full-term bipaternal mice

IVFD Comprehensive assessment of cryogenic storage risk and quality management concerns: best practice guidelines for ART labs
The purpose of this review is to provide best practice guidelines for the cryogenic storage of sperm, oocytes, embryos, and other reproductive tissues (e.g., testicular and ovarian tissue, cord blood cells, and stem cells) and recommend a strategy of thorough and appropriate quality and risk management procedures aimed to alleviate or minimize the consequences from catastrophic events.

IVFD Decision-making surrounding the use of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy reveals misunderstanding regarding its benefit
Conclusions: Patients who chose to undergo PGT-A have different priorities from those who do not. Many patients planning PGT-A do so for reasons that are not evidence-based. While patients cite physicians as their primary source of information in the decision-making process, rationales for selecting PGT-A are inconsistent with physician counseling.

IVFD 'Backdoor' eugenics: Are IVF and gene therapy an asset for humanity, or an ethical threat?
But some in the law and science communities are deeply concerned that eugenics is being resurrected. They fear modern technologies — including gene and stem cell therapy, in vitro fertilisation, and even prenatal screenings for genetic abnormalities — promote a type of 'new eugenics' or 'newgenics'. As a practitioner in these fields, Professor Rasko is acutely aware of the ethical and moral questions these technologies pose.

IVFD Mouse pups with same-sex parents born in China using stem cells and gene editing
Researchers were able to produce healthy mice with two mothers that went on to have normal offspring of their own. Mice from two dads were also born but only survived for a couple of days. The work looks at what makes it so challenging for animals of the same sex to produce offspring and suggests that some of these barriers can be overcome using stem cells and targeted gene editing.
