FertAid's Education Tools - to Education Directory
There are several tools available within FertAid. It is recognise that while the senior scientists are academically orientated, many ART scientists have little time to devote to their professional development. All accreditation schemes look to ongoing education as a key element in the laboratories accreditation.

FertAid has developed a series of schemes that may interest you, challenge you and assist in your professional development. These schemes are free to join and participate.

Education Schemes
Crosswords
Monthly crossword with 10 words to be in the least number of attempts. All the words are drawn from the glossary so its easy. Like all crosswords, the aim is to extend your vocabulary.
Risk Management Scheme MORE
This scheme provides scenarios each month that ART scientists may experience. The scheme asks participants to provide several responses to the scenarios. One suggestion may be to enroll your staff in this scheme and use the replies as an internal education session.
Glossary
While far from complete, the glossary contains many key words ART Scientists may come across.

Free FertAid Mail
A key activity introduced in late 2009, FertAid Mail posts ~20 items weekly to registered subscribers. The posts contains links to both recent news items and to recent published abstracts in areas of interest to all workers in ART. The aim is to force feed scientific and general information to busy scientists.
A key aspect is that any URL accessed is flagged to the subscribers accounts. These can be created and linked to the QAPonline logon and may be used as proof of professional development.

Surveys
A new development, the surveys are based upon the ISP value when you open FertAid. Access is free and unrestricted. The results are available on submission.
