A CONTRACEPTIVE pill for men may finally be on the horizon, after scientists reported promising results from a chemical that appears to allow a reversible suppression of sperm production in mice without reducing the animals' sex drive. Maternal Diet and Other Factors Affecting Offspring Sex Ratio: A Review [2004]
As the diets fed to the mice in these experiments were nutritionally complete and because litter sizes did not differ between treatments, dietary inadequacy seems not to be the cause for sex-ratio distortion. A number of mechanisms, all of which are testable, are discussed to provide an explanation for the phenomenon. We conclude the review by discussing potential implications of these observations to human medicine and agriculture.

Walnuts Improve Semen Quality in Men Consuming a Western-Style Diet: Randomized Control Dietary Intervention Trial
Serum FA profiles improved in the walnut group with increases in omega-6 (p=0.0004) and omega-3 (p=0.0007) but not the control group. Only the plant source of omega-3, α:-linolenic acid (ALA), increased (p=0.0001). Sperm aneuploidy was inversely correlated with sperm ALA, particularly sex chromosome nullisomy (-0.41, p=0.002). Findings demonstrated that walnuts added to a Western-style diet improved sperm vitality, motility and morphology.
Effect of artificial shrinkage on clinical outcome in fresh blastocyst transfer cycles
CONCLUSION: These results suggest that AS of blastocoele cavity, followed by the transfer, would be a useful approach to improve the clinical outcome in cycles in which fresh blastocyst stage embryos are transferred.

Group embryo culture is superior to single embryo culture for blastocyst development.
