IVFD Assembly of embryonic and extra-embryonic stem cells to mimic embryogenesis in vitro
When ETS-embryos develop, they spontaneously initiate expression of mesoderm and primordial germ cell markers asymmetrically on the embryonic and extra-embryonic border, in response to Wnt and BMP signaling. Our study demonstrates the ability of distinct stem cell types to self-assemble in vitro to generate embryos whose morphogenesis, architecture, and constituent cell-types resemble natural embryos.

IVFD LMWH in IVF – Biomarkers and benefits
There is biological plausibility that coagulation activation underlies a proportion of in vitro fertilisation IVF failures and recurrent early clinical pregnancy loss (RPL).- A pragmatic observational study of IVF couples screened for M2 carriage and treated with LMWH achieved a 37.9% live birth rate, similar to an unscreened and untreated group with fewer adverse risk factors for conception and a better prognosis from assisted conception

IVFD The mechanics clarifying counterclockwise rotation in most IVF eggs in mice
We focused on a chirality of helical beating of spermatozoa and found that eggs rotate counterclockwise in simulations under a certain geometrical condition where the eggs were situated. This theory of egg rotation was validated by demonstrating egg rotation in a clockwise direction by floating eggs to the upper surface of the IVF medium. The enigma of skewed rotation of IVF eggs was clarified.

IVFD Gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogue as sole luteal support in antagonist-based assisted reproductive technology cycles
Conclusion: This large retrospective study suggests that repeated intranasal GnRH-a for luteal phase support is associated with a higher live birth rate compared with standard P supplementations.

IVFD In vitro fertilization outcome in women with diminished ovarian reserve
Conclusion: DOR caused by previous ovarian surgery may show better pregnancy outcome, whereas that caused by chemotherapy could significantly increase the cycle cancellation rate. Furthermore, patients with DOR who previously received gonadotoxic agents may show reduced efficacy and increased risk of IVF cycle cancellation.

IVFD Unconventional combinations of prospective parents: ethical challenges faced by IVF providers
Conclusions: These data, the first to examine how clinicians make decisions about unconventional reproductive arrangements, highlight several critical ethical questions and ambiguities, and variations in clinicians’ responses. While several professional guidelines exist, the current data highlight additional challenges, and have vital implications for improving future guidelines, practice, education and research.

IVFD Scientists create artificial mouse 'embryo' from stem cells for first time
Scientists have managed to make a structure resembling a mouse embryo in culture, using two types of stem cells - the body's 'master cells' - and a 3-D scaffold on which they can grow.
