Computer‐::aided sperm analysis, the new key player in routine sperm assessment
Both manual and automated methods gave similar results for sperm concentration (n = 150), motility (n = 30), vitality (n = 90) and morphology (n = 90). Repeatability always showed a decrease in the CV with automated analysis: for example in normal range of sperm values, CV for manual and CASA analyses were, respectively, 9.0% versus 4.4% for sperm concentration, 5.2% versus 4.1% for motility, 7.3% versus 4.2% for vitality and 11.4% versus 4.1% fo
Cell-free nucleic acids and melatonin levels in human follicular fluid predict embryo quality in patients undergoing in-vitro fertilization treatment
Conclusively, this study indicates that Intra-follicular cfDNA and melatonin concentration possibly a new supplemental tool that supports to establish an advanced non-invasive early prognostic test for the patients undergoing IVF/ICSI procedure.
Fine-tuning blastocyst selection based on morphology: a multicentre analysis of 2461 single blastocyst transfers
Conclusion: This large study analyses for the first time the independent role of blastocyst morphology in predicting live birth while controlling for female age and PdHCG. Its findings suggest that DevSt and then trophectoderm grade are stronger predictors of live birth over ICM grade when selecting a single blastocyst for transfer.
