IVFD ‘There is only one thing that is truly important in an IVF laboratory: everything’ Cairo Consensus Guidelines on IVF Culture Conditions
Clinical IVF has had a relatively unrestricted development over the past 40 years, with the result that there is now a plethora of permutations of laboratory culture systems. Some laboratories have retained aspects from the mid-1980s, while others are more likely to embrace change and adopt novel aspects of IVF culture as they are introduced.

IVFD Embryos with morphokinetic abnormalities may develop into euploid blastocysts [2017]
Irregular cleavage divisions are expected to produce chromosomally deviant embryos. We investigated whether embryos from irregular cleavages could develop into euploid blastocysts, and, if so, whether any evidence existed of a self-correction mechanism of the embryo. We also investigated the role of different dynamic aspects of morula compaction in this process.

IVFD Individualized ovarian stimulation in IVF/ICSI treatment: it is time to stop using high FSH doses in predicted low responders
This intervention has been evaluated in several randomized controlled trials, and despite a slight increase in the number of oocytes—on average one to two more oocytes in the high versus standard dose group - no beneficial impact on the probability of a live birth has been demonstrated

IVFD Birth weight for gestational age and the risk of infertility: a Danish cohort study
Men born SGA had a higher risk of infertility. Genital malformations may account for part of the observed association, but this must be explored further.

IVFD Bisphenol a: an emerging threat to male fertility”
A clear understanding of BPA action mechanisms, as well as the presumed risks deriving from its exposure, is becoming crucial to preserve male fertility. The development and validation of methodologies to detect BPA toxic effects on reproductive organs can provide greater awareness of the potential threat that this chemical represents.

IVFD Time of morulation and trophectoderm quality are predictors of a live birth after euploid blastocyst transfer: a multicenter study
Time of morulation and trophectoderm quality are better predictors of a euploid blastocyst's reproductive competence. Our evidence was reproducible across different centers under specific culture conditions. These data support the crucial role of morulation for embryo development, a stage that involves massive morphologic, cellular, and molecular changes and deserves more investigation.
