IVFD Maximizing the ovarian reserve in mice by evading LINE-1 genotoxicity
We conclude that FOA (fetal oocyte attrition) serves as quality control for oocyte genome integrity, and is not obligatory for oogenesis nor fertility.

IVFD Ovarian Stimulation Is Safe and Effective for Patients with Gynecologic Cancer
Conclusion: Although time to next treatment was longer in the group of patients who underwent COH, this did not reach statistical significance. It appears that in selected patients with GYN malignancies, COH for oocyte or embryo cryopreservation is safe, with reasonable stimulation outcomes and no difference in long-term outcomes.

IVFD Blastocyst collapse as an embryo marker of low implantation potential: a time-lapse multicentre study
This study suggests that human blastocysts that collapse spontaneously during development are less likely to implant and generate a pregnancy compared with embryos that do not. Although this is a retrospective study, the results demonstrated the utility of collapse episodes as new marker of embryo selection following eSET at blastocyst stage.

IVFD Parameters impacting the live birth rate per transfer after frozen single euploid blastocyst transfer
Conclusion: A high BMI, an embryo biopsy on day-6 and a high number of miscarriages negatively affect the live birth rate after single euploid FBT.

IVFD Societal pressures and procreative preferences for gay fathers successfully pursuing parenthood through IVF and gestational carriers
Gay male couples undergoing assisted reproduction face challenges regarding decision-making, lack of infertility benefits and discrimination, which appear to be influenced by age and country of residence. Policy and educational changes are needed, including broader fertility benefits, more egalitarian parental leave, and greater awareness of risks inherent to multiple gestation.

IVFD The proliferative phase endometrium in IVF/ICSI: an in-cycle molecular analysis predictive of the outcome following fresh embryo transfer
Summary answer Transcriptome analysis of the whole-tissue endometrium did not reveal significant differential gene expression (DGE) in relation to the outcome: however, the secretome profile of isolated, cultured and in vitro decidualized endometrial stromal cells (EnSCs) varied significantly between patients who had a live birth compared to those with an implantation failure following fresh ET in the same cycle as the biopsy.

IVFD ‘Genes versus children’: if the goal is parenthood, are we using the optimal approach?
ropout and consequently an even higher probability of remaining in involuntary childlessness. We advocate formulation of a detailed roadmap for discussion of parenthood, with reference explanation to genetics and epigenetics, which gives due consideration to the psychological effects from the beginning to end of the treatment process, alongside a balanced consideration of the likelihood of treatment success and discussion of other options.

IVFD Trimethylamine-N-oxide is present in human follicular fluid and is a negative predictor of embryo quality
More research on the contribution of diet and the effect of gut bacteria on FF TMAO is warranted. Since TMAO integrates diet, microbiota and genetic setup of the person, our results indicate potential important clinical implications for its use as biomarker for lifestyle interventions to improve fertility.

IVFD Antioxidants increase MOUSE blastocyst cryosurvival and viability post-vitrification
The combination of three antioxidants in vitrification solutions resulted in mouse blastocysts with higher developmental potential in vitro and increased viability as assessed by both an outgrowth model in vitro and fetal development following uterine transfer. IVFD Jumping genes threaten egg cell quality - Understanding their activity has implications for fertility and health of future generations [MOUSE]
A woman's supply of eggs is finite, so it is crucial that the quality of their genetic material is ensured. New work elucidates a mechanism by which, even before birth, the body tries to eliminate egg cells of the poorest quality.
