IVFD The effect of acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer on the in vitro fertilization outcomes: An RCT
Conclusion: Acupuncture 25 min before ET significantly increased the IVF outcomes in women undergoing IVF compared with no acupuncture. Repeating acupuncture 25 min after ET did not improve the IVF outcome.

IVFD Reproductive outcomes in infertile men with spinal cord injury (SCI): a retrospective case-control analysis
Conclusions: The assisted ejaculation methods in SCI proved to be efficacious and safe to obtain viable sperm for ARTs. Overall, pregnancy and live birth rates were similar to non-SCI patients. Thus, SCI men have the same opportunity to father biological children, compared to men without SCI.

IVFD The status of preimplantation genetic testing in the UK and USA
The proportion of PGT cycles as a total of ART procedures has remained the same in the UK but increased annually in the USA from 13% to 27%. ...Analysis of the data by maternal age shows very different patient populations between the UK and USA. These differences may be related to the way PGT is funded in the UK and USA and the lack of HFEA support for PGT for aneuploidy

IVFD Novel additive for sperm cryopreservation media: Holotheria parva coelomic cavity extract protects human spermatozoa against oxidative stress—A pilot
To the best of our knowledge, the results of this study represent the first demonstration of the possibility of improving sperm parameters and reducing ROS production and DNA damage by supplementing sperm freezing media with H. parva coelomic extract. Our results suggested that H. parva coelomic extract could be useful for improving the fertilising ability of frozen‐:thawed human semen.

IVFD Cumulative Live Birth Rates According to Maternal Body Mass Index After First Ovarian Stimulation for in vitro Fertilization: A Single Center Analysis
Conclusion(s): The data suggested an “inverted U shape” association between BMI and CLBR. The CLBR increases in underweight women, plateaus in normal weight and overweight women, and then decreases in obese women.

IVFD Effects of different polyvinylpyrrolidone concentrations on intracytoplasmic sperm injection
For high-/intermediate-quality semen, all of the main outcome measures were significantly increased with 5% PVP. For the poor-quality semen, only the high-quality cleavage embryo and high-quality blastocyst rates were significantly higher in the 5% group. Therefore, lowering PVP concentrations greatly promoted the development of embryos in ICSI cycles, with an optimal concentration of 5% for ICSI.

IVFD High levels of oxidation–reduction potential in frozen‐:thawed human semen are significantly correlated with poor post‐:thaw sperm quality
Post‐:thaw ORP (2.62 [2.52, 3.13] mV/106 sperm/ml) was significantly higher than pre‐:freeze ORP (0.73 [0.54, 1.21] mV/106 sperm/ml,p< .001).Increased levels of ORP are significantly correlated with poor post‐:thaw sperm quality and CSR (cryo‐:survival rate).

IVFD Mathematical modeling of human oocyte aneuploidy
Using human embryo aneuploidy data, we developed a mathematical model describing all possible aneuploidies that arise from meiotic errors. Our model revealed aspects of the human aneuploidy etiology, including an association between errors arising during meiosis I and meiosis II. Our study demonstrates the power of quantitative modeling approaches to link karyotypic patterns to their originating meiotic error mechanisms.

IVFD Hair Cortisol Concentrations as a Biomarker to Predict a Clinical Pregnancy Outcome after an IVF Cycle: A Pilot Feasibility Study
Pregnant women had higher levels of resilience at T2 (M = 149.29: SD = 17.56) when compared with non-pregnant women at T2 (M = 119.96: SD = 21.71). Significant differences were found between both groups in depression at T2 (t = 3.13, p = 0.01) and resilience at T2 (t = −:4.89, p = 0.01). HCC might be a promising biomarker to calculate the probability of pregnancy in women using assisted reproductive technologies (ART).

IVFD Dynamics of trophoblast differentiation in peri-implantation–stage human embryos
The studies show that TB associated with human embryos is in rapid developmental flux during peri-implantation period when it must invade, signal robustly to the mother to ensure that the pregnancy continues, and make first contact with the maternal immune system.
