IVFD Extended in vitro culture of human embryos demonstrates the complex nature of diagnosing chromosomal mosaicism from a single trophectoderm biopsy
Our findings echo current prenatal testing data and support the high clinical predictive value of PGT-A for diagnosing uniform numerical aneuploidies, as well as euploid chromosomal constitutions. However, distinguishing technical bias from biological variability will remain a challenge, inherently limiting the accuracy of a single TE biopsy for diagnosing mosaicism.

IVFD Spontaneous blastocyst collapse as an embryo marker of low pregnancy outcome: A Time-Lapse study
This study demonstrated that human blastocysts which collapse spontaneously during in vitro development are less likely to implant and generate a pregnancy compared with embryos which do not. Although this is a retrospective study, the results establish the utility of collapse episodes as new marker of embryo selection following eSET at blastocyst stage.

IVFD Blastocyst contractions are strongly related with aneuploidy, lower implantation rates, and slow-cleaving embryos: a time lapse study
Two of the traits for which the embryos included in this study were compared were statistically different. Embryos in the CT group had lower implantation rates, took longer to reach the blastocyst stage, and had a higher chance of being aneuploid, regardless of maternal age. Therefore, embryo contraction might be a useful parameter in the selection of embryos for transfer.

IVFD Preimplantation genetic testing as a component of root cause analysis of errors and reassignment of embryos in IVF
The risks of embryo/gamete mix-up are a threat to the integrity of the IVF process, with significant implications for affected families. The use of preimplantation genetic testing through single-nucleotide polymorphism array or next-generation sequencing technology can help to identify, characterize and ultimately help, in some cases, to find the root cause, and to mitigate the extent of these errors for a given patient or laboratory.

IVFD Failure mode and effects analysis of witnessing protocols for ensuring traceability during PGD/PGS cycles
Specific corrective measures were then introduced and implemented, and a second evaluation performed six months later. Perhaps with the intention of obtaining larger amounts of free-DNA, some groups are routinely postponing and establishing free-DNA collection in culture medium for Noninvasive preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (niPGT-A) to day 6 for all blastocysts.

IVFD Reproductive and obstetrical outcomes with the overall survival of fertile-age women treated with fertility-sparing surgery for borderline ovarian tum
Natural fertility was maintained after FSS: only 9% required ART treatment. FSS was also deemed to be equivalent to RS regarding survival outcome.

IVFD Women could conceive after ovarian tumors, study shows
Women receiving fertility-sparing surgery for treatment of borderline ovarian tumours were able to have children, a study from Karolinska Institutet in Sweden published in Fertility & Sterility shows. Natural fertility was preserved in most of them and only a small proportion required assisted reproductive treatment such as in vitro fertilization. Survival in the group was also as high as in women who had undergone radical surgical for treatment
