IVFD Sperm-Hybrid Micromotor for Targeted Drug Delivery
A sperm-driven micromotor is presented as a targeted drug delivery system, which is appealing to potentially treat diseases in the female reproductive tract. This system is demonstrated to be an efficient drug delivery vehicle by first loading a motile sperm cell with an anticancer drug (doxorubicin hydrochloride), guiding it magnetically, to an in vitro cultured tumor spheroid, and finally freeing the sperm cell to deliver the drug locally

IVFD Trends in Population Sex Ratios May be Explained by Changes in the Frequencies of Polymorphic Alleles of a Sex Ratio Gene
A test for heritability of the sex ratio in human genealogical data is reported here, with the finding that there is significant heritability of the parental sex ratio by male, but not female offspring. A population genetic model was used to examine the hypothesis that this is the result of an autosomal gene with polymorphic alleles, which affects the sex ratio of offspring through the male reproductive system.

IVFD An ART score to note objectively the quality of an ART procedure
Results: The ART score was obtained from data from both partners and ART procedure. The ART score was segmented into four classes depending on the clinical pregnancy rate. There was a linear relationship between the ART score and clinical pregnancy rate (r ::= ::1.0, p ::< ::0.001). The ART score was validated temporally and geographically. Conclusion:An objective ART score has been constructed and validated. It will be of hel

IVFD Boy Or Girl? It's In The Father's Genes
A study of hundreds of years of family trees suggests a man's genes play a role in him having sons or daughters. Men inherit a tendency to have more sons or more daughters from their parents. This means that a man with many brothers is more likely to have sons, while a man with many sisters is more likely to have daughters.
