On-line EDITING

FertAid offers the unique facility to subscribers of full control over what they advertise, where they advertise and what to say over the internet. FertAid is a private web site developed to provide functional, productive tools for people working in the Reproductive sciences. While there are web sites offering broad search facilities and there are web sites provding general information, the tools FertAid has available are designed to meet the needs of busy, active professionals who need information quickly. The range of internet tools under the FertAid banner ranges from product information to Quality Assurance, Survey and Education. Together they provide a mixture of reasons to access the site and therefore a unique opportunity to promote your business.

More than this, FertAid believes scientists want to know about new products and what alternatives are available. While some scientists manage to attend scientific meetings and see your products, the majority are able to do this very infrequently. Others may see your advertisements in journals but this expensive and limited to only a few major companies. FertAids Laboratory Directory is an alternative vechile to expose your products or agencies. Since the search engine provides filters for local, region or international requests, it provides browsers interested in only local companies or agencies as well as international companies to search.

When you subscribe to FertAid, you are provided with a "company page" that is available for you to use as you see fit for 12 months. You are responsible for the content and you can add or edit product information or messages. Some companies may only wish to add their contact details, others may wish to add every product they produce. The advantage of Laboratory Directory is that for each product you may add a web link to the specific page on your own web site for that product. This means that the browser goes straight to the appropiate page on your web site.

Companies may vary in how they may wish to subscribe. This may depend on their cash flow, the relevance of their products to the shops available, or just cautious with a new web site. Accordingly, FertAid provide 3 levels of subscription......

1. - ONE ANNUAL FEE. - A single annual fee which is about the cost of one advertisement in one magazine where the fee varies depending on the level of the subscription.

2. ONE ANNUAL FEE + Banner Advertising. - A single annual fee but includes your "banner" placed in the random log for 12 months. This means that every time a browsers access a page in FertAid.com (excluding bookmarked pages), your banner may be displayed. If you wish to bookmark a particular page so that your banner is always displayed, please contact Office@fertaid.com

3. INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL FEE - A subscription for international supply companies where for a single annual fee, your company has it own page as above with 12 months random banner advertising PLUS the opportunity to list independently any or all of your agencies and include in their product range a specific link for your products to your web site.

4. FREE LISTING - If you are not interested in listing your products or providing a driect link to your own web site, FertAid understands and is happy to provide a free listing of your companies name and address and telephone/fax numbers and email but not access to your web site.

All fees are in US dollars. Australian Companies can apply to receive a Tax Invoice in AUS dollars on request. 

When you to subscribe to Laboratory Directory, you will be contacted via your nominated e-mail with 

• your company login code  and 

• password.

If you are a registered subscriber, you may modify your data at any time over the internet.  You are not dependant on FertAid to update your product/message/contact information.

You can add

• Add, edit or delete Product Information

• Add, edit or delete Message Information
• Mark any product or message as

• Summary of Units

• Number of Hits from any search (Search Hits) or from Company Search (Direct Hits)

• Summary of Products-including number of hits (product displayed after any product or category search)

PLEASE READ

The first thing you should do is complete the company details including your e-mail and web address if you have one. It is up to you to keep the information current since this represents the first impressions browsers may have of your company.

OTHER IMPORTANT COMPANY INFORMATION.

You should also complete or modify 

• the e-mail address for all correspondence

• your logon code [you can alter this at any time]

• your password [you can alter this at anytime]

If you have a company logo, you can either e-mail the gif/jpeg file to office@fertaid.com or we can get it from your web site. If you have neither, FertAid can create one for you. Just let us know.

You can edit this information 

• select Update Records or 

•  : EDIT COMPANY INFORMATION  (you will need your password)

A WORD ABOUT DEFAMATION.

FertAid cannot accept any liability for product description or messages which may be misleading or defamatory.

All responsibility for information added to the site rests with the nominated name for your company's contact..

Each product requires the following information

• Brand or procedure name
• product description [60 characters maximum]
• category [select from a drop down list which attempts to broadly define its function]
• if you wish to mark it as a NEW product
• which shops you wish to advertise in. [Currently, FertShop is the only shop available]

To remove the product from display, simply unselect all shops.

You need to press 'SUBMIT' to update your product information

The message will always be displayed on your 'page' when your company is selected. You may also mark it as a new message. When so marked, it is available to be reviewed from the 'New Messages' option on the main menu. 

You can use this to advertise a new product, indicate if a new product is soon available or any other message you wish to post on the site. This represents a very cheap and efficient form of advertising.!!

All new messages are used to form a FertAid mailout.

Every time a professional clicks on your web address, you can recieve an e-mail indicating the time date of that enquiry. If the hit originated from a specific product , you will recieve this information as well.

Each email enquiry is delivered via a form from FertAid indicating the enquiry came from FertAid and the product the browser was looking at the time.

Using such information may provide you with which products are of interest to professionals.

It may be worthwhile, emailing FertAid to inform that a subscription has been submitted.

4.    FertAid will confirm this via e-mail together with a password for editing your product details
