Product Management Tools
The Product Management System [PMS] is a DRAFT version only. You are welcome to explore it but contact FertAid on office@fertaid.com for help and advice.
The aim of the PMS is to facilitate laboratories with information required for accreditation reviews. Specifically, most accreditation systems require
  • a full list of suppliers
  • a full list of products form each suppliers
  • a full list of all products that enter the laboratory by lot number
  • a full list of all products used by lot number
  • a full list of assets - capital items
  • a full list of maintenance performed.
FertAids PMS aims to assist laboratories with some or all of these requirements. Essentially FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to
  • develop a list of suppliers
    • either from a down load list suppliers in the Virtual laboratory directory
    • or creating a new record
  • Develop a list of products from each supplier
  • Create a list of orders with the number of each product
  • Create a log of when each product is received into the laboratory by lot number and placed into a virtual storeroom
  • Create a log of when each product is removed from the Virtual Storeroom and made available for use.
FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to allocate each order to a primary use register to allow reporting of laboratory material and costs (if added) by register and date.
FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to create an equipment list and attach to it a maintenance register.

FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to perform stocktakes

FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to search for product usage by dates and lot number.

FertAid PMS will when fully developed will allow you to attach quality testing for each product/lot number

Currently, you can:

  • create a list of suppliers
  • create a list of products for each supplier
  • create an ongoing order list by supplier and products
  • create a record of the delivery for each order by date and lot number
  • create a record of when the products are released for laboratory use.
  • create a list of equipment by supplier
  • create a list of maintenance for each equipment.
